Here you will find an accumulation of some of Australia's most adventurous explorers who are only too willing to pack up the truck and head on those extended trips in search of the next great adventure. Follow their travels below and get inspired to plan your next trip!

TRIP IN A VAN

Caravanning around Australia is something we have always wanted to do, it was just a matter of when. We knew that we would be locked into schooling, sport and work for the next 20 years so we bit the bullet! We started planning our Aussie adventure and left a couple months later in Dec 2015. On board we have our 2 sons (now 4 & 2) and 1-year-olddaughter. Being in our early thirties we thought it was an ideal time to get away from the daily grind and enjoy precious family time. It has been an awesome experience and definitely the best decision we’ve made. Our kids are thriving on the changing environments, social interaction and we love watching them learn through nature.

We are exploring Oz in our Jurgens Narooma caravan and it's an ideal set up for our young family. It has all the comforts of home including full kitchen, shower, toilet and washing machine. It’s light off road capabilities and independent suspension makes our trip enjoyable. Our tow vehicle is a Mazda BT50 and we are really happy with its fuel economy and trouble free towing.

We hope you enjoy our travels.

AUSSIE OFFROAD NOMADS

Hi there! We are Ryan, Alison, Will and Evan; a young family originally from a small town about an hour and a half south of Sydney.

We love nothing more than being out exploring new areas and taking in new sights. The rugged, remote and expansive nature of this country is what inspires and motivates us to explore further; through challenging terrain and across some of the toughest tracks to find hidden (and not so well hidden) locations. We set out to experience everything our country has to offer.

Where we have the option, we take the dirt road, find the camps that aren’t on maps and take the long way. We plan on documenting this right here through our blog posts and also on Facebook and Instagram. Click here to see one of our latest blogs.
